After I made my decision to move back to the country, I knew, that like my ancestors, I would need to learn to make the land provide for me.  After all, I could not afford to just sit there.  As a nutritionist, with respect for the wisdom of nature, I already sell whole food nutrients, vitamins, and herbs.  We raise our own chickens and have been using their eggs for years.  I love the thought of providing my family the best.  That is when I decided we needed to provide HEALTHY beef for people to raise and eat.  I decided then on mini dairy cattle.  Now wait, you can raise mini dairy cattle for beef and it can still provide you with enough milk to drink and leftovers for raising pork, ice cream, cheeses and for many other uses.  One cow can give you a lot more than you might think.  So I bought one, flipped head over heels in love with them and now have many.  They have given me so much more than I ever dreamed they could.  They help pay for everything they eat, they are wonderful friends and supply you with a piece of mind you've probably never known.  I feel blessed every day I wake up and look out at my fields and hear them calling me for breakfast.
