Here are some more animals you might want to look at!

    Breaking a calf to lead
Of course the smaller the animal the easier it is to teach it to lead, that having been said,  please start your calf in training as soon as possible..   If you get a calf that has been weaned or is no longer a little easy to lead babe, this is one easy way to start the training.  You see this little bull is being broke to lead by learning that the rope is stronger than he is...  Note that he is learning this with NO person around.  We let our boys learn to lead without being pets!  Let your calf drag a rope (one you dont care about getting dirty) that way every time the calf steps on the lead it stops him or her with his own weight.  The animal learns that the lead is as strong as he is.  This way to learn has many benifits, the BEST one is that there is much less work for the owner.  You will still need to work on the end results but by the time a few weeks of dragging the lead is over your baby or adult is more than half way there with very little efforts on your part and the chasing/scaring of your calf will be minimal. I like very long leads myself, that way you can not even look at the calf when you walk into the pen and can stand right on the lead so the animals flight instincts cant take over your efforts or time.  This is much less frustrating to the both of you..
